Lush lawns and outdoor dining

Vibrant, elegant gardens are a Phipps speciality, and this design and build project in the South of England was no different. With a beautiful design by Anthony Purdy, our team spent four months building bespoke elements and planting gorgeous soft landscaping plants and trees that combined residential comfort with the beauty of nature.

Our team designed and handbuilt an outdoor kitchen which was all done in-house, but the garden was also full of other amazing elements such as a timber side screening and an aluminium pergola with electric moving slats for shade. Bricks and wood will always add a touch of a country feel, so we laid out a brick pavement pathway, as well as gabions for extra aesthetics.

Our biggest challenge was levelling out the garden which dropped a bit at the back, but our team were definitely ready and up for the task. Being a fully-fledged scratch build, we also did all the planting, including fruit trees and vegetables in raised planters that allowed for better accessibility to watch and marvel at their beauty. Overall, the client was very happy with the project, especially the outdoor kitchen.
