From Obstacle to Opportunity:

The Glorious Garden

Our team at Phipps took on a design and build project in Essex that highlighted our innovation and adaptability, while also creating an apparently perfect playground for pheasants.

We blended natural materials with a modern twist on a cottage-style garden where we worked directly with the designer to make the design a reality.

The team had to adapt to the surrounding site when we found a well in the back garden. But, rather than view it as an obstacle, we saw it as an opportunity to transform it into a beautiful and fitting feature of the landscape that blends in with the gates, fences, and oak pergola we built.

Using materials such as iron borders, corten steel, and even Indian sandstone, we created timeless and rugged elements for the cottage-style garden, making the design jump from the page to the build site.
